Description
This camshaft follower (lifter) kit fits the "Uprated" Ford 1600 Kent engine:
Matched set of 8 camshaft followers.
Always use new followers when installing a new camshaft.
Followers wear in a profile that matches the camshaft lobe, so followers should be kept in order after they are broken in.
These lifters have a 0.516" (13mm) stem diameter to fit "Uprated" blocks (711M, 771M, and 831X). Earlier blocks (2737M, 681M) were built to use lifters with a smaller 0.436" (11mm) diameter stem.
