Our blind "pop" rivets offer excellent quality at a great price. These rivets are designed for light-duty fastening, not to be used as structural fasteners.
All-aluminum rivets (AA) offer corrosion resistance and lower clamping force (an advantage when fastening soft or brittle materials such as fiberglass). We recommend backup washers (Part No. 641-Size, sold separately) when riveting soft or brittle materials.Aluminum bodied rivets (AA or AS) are easiest to drill out for disassembly.Steel rivets (SS) offer higher strength than aluminum at a lower price than stainless.Stainless steel (ST) combines the highest strength with corrosion resistance.
These rivets are all plain, open-ended type (the end of the mandrel protrudes from the shop-formed end).
