These Ivey Engines piston rings fit both the original Ford pistons and the SCCA-legal forged pistons (standard 3.188" / 81mm bore and 3.191" bore) on the Formula Ford 1600 Kent "Uprated" engine.
Kent engine blocks started out with a 3.188" bore and cast pistons. Once forged pistons became available and worn blocks became commonplace through use, the 3.191" bore size was allowed by SCCA starting on 1 January 2025. After more wear and sleeving on many blocks, the "0.005" oversized" pistons at 3.196" bore size was allowed by SCCA starting 1 January 2007.
