Description

These alloy-steel, cadmium plated, reduced hex, self-locking nuts are similar to the MS21042 Jetnuts, but in metric sizes:

Dry film lubricated
There is currently no Military Specification for metric jetnuts.
They can be used in temperatures as high as 450° F without losing the locking function.
Like their MS21042 cousins, they are rated to 160,000 psi tensile strength.
The reduced hex size makes them ideal for many tight installations where wrench access is a problem.
