Upgraded design over OEM steering shaft or steering column support for '98-up Van Diemen F1600 and F2000 and Elan DP08 cars:
Note 1: The OD of the original Van Diemen steering shaft can vary by +/- 0.001". If your steering shaft is slightly oversized, a light polish with an abrasive pad will allow it to slip into the new bearing.Note 2: Once your steering shaft is fitted to the bearing, use a drop of Loctite 609 Green Bearing Mount to prevent the shaft from rotating inside the bearing and grinding on the shaft O.D. Failure to do this could eventually cause a loose fit in the bearing and excessive play.
