A carbon fiber impact collar headrest with FIA-grade energy-absorbing foam for the Elan DP08 and Van Diemen '99-up chassis. It is the OEM headrest used in the USF2000 series. It sits high out of the cockpit to wrap around the driver's head, as the installed photos show.
It ships complete, with the headrest, all mounting hardware and a fiberglass locating adapter that fixes to the chassis behind the driver's head and holds the headrest in place. New and never installed.
Safety: as with any head protection, inspect the headrest and foam after any accident or impact, and replace it if it is damaged, cracked or compressed.
