Many race sanctioning bodies now require master battery cut-off switch terminals or alternators to be insulated against accidental short circuits. Even if your racing organization doesn't, it just makes good sense.
These flexible boots are designed to cover the terminals on your master switch or any other electrical connections. Snug fit on cable keeps the boot in place once fitted over the terminal end, still allowing them to be easily pulled back for maintenance.
