The NGK Iridium IX spark plug, model LTR7IX-11 (NGK stock number 6510), is the plug we supply for Zetec-powered Formula 2000 engines. A fine-wire iridium center electrode over a copper core gives a strong, consistent spark and long service life.
Ford Zetec-powered Formula 2000 (F2000) race cars. NGK also lists the LTR7IX-11 for several production V6 and V8 engines, including the Coyote-powered Mustang and F-150.
NGK's general guideline is 10.8 to 18 lb-ft in a cast iron head and 7.2 to 14.5 lb-ft in an aluminum head. Where your engine builder publishes a torque figure for the Zetec, use that instead.
