An upgraded rear top wishbone for the Pro Formula Mazda, the carbon-chassis, Renesis rotary-powered car raced from 2004 to 2017, and a direct alternative to the standard 020-525. On the standard wishbone, rear toe is set with a turnbuckle, which is the smallest section in the rear corner and the piece most likely to fail when the car is loaded up. This design removes the turnbuckle and carries rear toe on a floating link instead, which also relieves transverse stress in the wishbone. Toe still adjusts by turning the link.
The spherical bearings are pressed in and staked before it ships, and the 9.25" toe link is included. Two per car; sold each.
The wishbone takes a 3/8-24 right-hand rod end. An Aurora XAM-5T (5/16" bore, 3/8-24 oversize shank, PTFE lined) suits it. Rod ends are not included.
All wishbones ship with their spherical bearings already pressed in and staked. Push rods, track rods and the toe link are supplied bare; rod ends are sold separately.
