An OEM-style tripod housing made entirely from hardened steel. It is very strong and wear resistant and outlasts the aluminum housing, at the cost of about a pound of extra weight. The 40mm thickness gives the tripod joint and driveshaft plenty of plunge travel.
Bolts to the Hewland LD200 and JL200 gearboxes. Fits most FF1600 and F2000 Van Diemens from 2000 on, many 1990-1999 cars, Citations and MZR-powered Elan DP08s, plus many sports racers using the LD200 or JL200.
