A tripod plunging housing machined from solid steel. Unlike the aluminum 99D2010, there are no separate hardened race inserts to fit or replace, because the steel housing itself is the wear surface. At 22mm thick it matches the original Van Diemen and DP08 housing dimension.
Fits most FF1600 and F2000 Van Diemens from '00 on, many '90-'99 cars, Citations, and MZR-powered Elan DP08s (same fitment as the 99D2010).
The aluminum 99D2010 is 26mm thick and eliminates the factory 4mm spacer. When fitting this 22mm steel housing you will need the 99D2022 inboard CV housing spacer to keep the same stack height.
