The lock tab that bends over the camshaft thrust plate retaining bolts to stop them loosening, on Ford 1.6L Kent OHV and Lotus Twin Cam engines. Once a tab has been bent and removed it no longer locks reliably, so fit a new one at every rebuild or whenever the FP221 thrust plate comes off.
